Book a Discovery Call

You have the map. Now imagine having a guide.

An 8-week, one-on-one mentorship where I’m in your pocket every day — translating behavior, adapting your home, and walking your family back to connection.

You’ve done the reading. You’ve tried the strategies. You can see that something sensory is going on. But knowing it and living it are two completely different things.

The Taproot Intensive is where I walk alongside you — not for a session that ends when the clock runs out, but for 8 full weeks of real-time support. Weekly calls. Daily voice messaging. A plan built around your child, your home, and your actual life.

This is the “hold my hand” mentorship.

Get The Taproot

The Hardest Part Isn’t Learning the Information.

It’s Real Life at 7am on a school day.

You know deep pressure helps. But when your child is screaming and the school bus arrives in four minutes, knowing isn’t enough.

You know transitions are hard. But when the after-school crash hits and dinner isn’t made and your other kids need you too, a strategy list on the fridge doesn’t cut it.

You don’t need more information. You need someone who understands your child’s nervous system standing beside you, in real time, helping you respond instead of react.

That’s what Taproot is.

8 Weeks. Every Tool. One Guide.

Weekly Video Calls

One live session per week on Zoom, dedicated entirely to your family. We review the week, troubleshoot what came up, and build the next layer of your plan together.

Daily Voice-Messaging Access

Between calls, you can send me a voice message any time through WhatsApp. When your child is melting down and you need a real-time translation — not a Google search — I’m there.

Your Family’s Taproot Binder

A physical binder of handouts, action plans, and reflection worksheets that you build week by week. By Week 8, it’s a complete record of your family’s growth — in your own words.

We follow the S.O.I.L. framework — four phases that move your family from surviving to thriving.

S — Sensory Audit: Seeing the “Why” (Weeks 1–2)

We start by unearthing your child’s unique processing style. Through guided observation tools, sensory system education, and your first child-led play session, you’ll begin to see the logic behind the behavior that used to feel random. You’ll learn all 8 sensory systems in plain language, build your child’s sensory tracking log, and identify the hidden friction points in your daily routine.

O — Orient the Body: Finding Ground, Finding Safety (Weeks 3–4)

Now that you can see what’s happening, we orient your child’s body back toward calm. You’ll learn sensory snacks — quick, targeted strategies matched to your child’s specific landscape. We cover tactile and proprioceptive tools, build a Big Body Menu, identify early warning signs before meltdowns hit, and create micro-break routines for the hardest transitions of the day.

I — Integrate the Home: Changing the Soil (Weeks 5–6)

We adapt your physical home environment to become a regulating sanctuary — not by overhauling everything, but by making targeted changes to the spaces and routines where the most friction lives. You’ll audit rooms, build calming corners, and restructure high-demand times like mornings, mealtimes, and bedtime so they work with your child’s nervous system instead of against it.

L — Life in Full Bloom: Thriving, Not Just Surviving (Weeks 7–8)

The final phase is about sustainability and joy. We build a Family Daily Sensory Practice, prepare your child for upcoming transitions and big changes, create a self-advocacy framework so your child can begin to name what they need, and compile your Bloom Evidence Log — a record of every moment where connection replaced correction. We celebrate on our final call with your complete binder in hand.

With Taproot

You voice-message me at 7am and have a strategy before the bus arrives.

Every tool is matched to your child’s specific sensory landscape — not someone else’s.

You run the checklist in real time: which system, which need, which tool. No freezing.

You have a guide who sees your child through the same lens — and validates what you’ve been noticing all along.

Without Taproot

You Google strategies at 11pm and forget them by morning.

You try something that worked for someone else’s kid. It doesn’t work for yours.

A meltdown happens and you freeze because you don’t know which system is driving it.

You feel alone in it — your partner doesn’t see it, your family doesn’t get it.

Hi, I'm Melissa. I'll be your guide

I’m a certified occupational therapy assistant with 16+ years of experience in sensory development and a mom to a sensory kid. I built the Taproot because I watched brilliant, loving parents burn out trying to figure this out alone — reading every book, trying every tip, and still feeling like they were failing.

You’re not failing. You’re missing the guide.

In the Taproot, I’m not handing you a course and wishing you luck. I’m in your pocket — on calls, on voice message, watching your family’s patterns alongside you and helping you respond in real time. I teach from the parent educator lane, not the clinical lane. I’m not here to diagnose your child. I’m here to help you understand them so deeply that every hard moment becomes an opportunity for connection.

The Taproot is for you if:

Your child has daily sensory friction — mornings, mealtimes, transitions, bedtime — and you’re exhausted from managing it alone.

You want real-time support, not another course you watch at midnight and might forget by morning.

You’ve tried strategies that work for other kids but not yours, and you’re ready for a plan built around your specific child.

You want someone in your corner who gets it — who won’t judge the hard days and will celebrate the small wins with you.

This is NOT for you if:

You’re looking for a clinical evaluation, diagnosis, or occupational therapy services.

You want to learn at your own pace without scheduled calls — that’s The Seedling.

You’re not ready to commit to 8 weeks of active participation — the Taproot works because you show up.

The Investment

$1,600.00

8 weeks of private, one-on-one mentorship. Weekly video calls. Daily voice-messaging access. A complete family binder built in your own words.

That’s $200 a week for a sensory educator in your pocket every single day. Compare that to the cost of weekly private OT sessions, the Amazon cart full of tools that didn’t work, or the invisible cost of another month spent guessing.

This is the investment that changes how your family lives together.

Note: Because the Taproot is one-on-one, enrollment is limited. If spots are full, you’ll be placed on a priority waitlist.
